Sr. Dr. Aquinata Böckmann OSB and Team

STUDYING THE RB
IN THE LAND OF BENEDICT

REGISTRATION OPEN.

Rome, April 21, 2009

Dear Benedictine Friends,

We would like to invite you to the Third Intensive Study of the Holy Rule and the Dialogues at the Casa Santo Spirito, Rome, from January 2 to February 28, 2009. This is not a general spiritual renewal course, nor a study of secondary literature on a certain theme, but it is an in-depth study of the Rule of St. Benedict (RB) and its primary sources.

The participants will be introduced to the tools of exegesis that will enable them to share the tools with others or to continue to study this or any other texts in the way of "lectio divina." The result will be a better preparation for judging the impact on such texts on our contemporary situation.

The Program will be conducted at the Generalate of the Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing.
