On 27 February, at 12:00, the Vatican announced that Pope Francis has appointed Abbot Elias Lorenzo, O.S.B., of the American-Cassinese Congregation, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Newark, in the state of New Jersey. Bishop Elias was Prior of Saint Anselmo for five years before being elected Abbot President of his Congregation. We want to assure him of our prayers for this new call from God.
